Bank CheckOpen the safe... Service

  • Do you know if you're paying too much for your bank facilities?
  • Are the loan covenants applied to your business by your bank dragging you under in administration and distracting you from growing your business?
  • Does the bank hold more security than it needs?

Our Bank Check service looks at your existing banking arrangements and identifies for you opportunity to improve price, security, covenants and the overall appropriateness of your banking relationships.  This service is not about moving banks, its about helping you to understand why your bank is treating you as it is, and armed with this knowledge, then helping you to make decisions about how improvements can be made.

A Bank will generally have 3 different relationships with business:
1) Investor - like shareholders, a bank can provide capital for the business to operate in the form of loans,

2) Investment - Business can invest its money in banks either providing cash in return for interest or purchasing shares in return for dividends and capital growth

3) Service provider - provision of transactional services like cheque books, Merchant facilities (EFTPOS), Commercial Credit Cards

Often the line becomes hazy between each relationship as banks seek to provide incentives for one service to attract business for the other.  Business too can lose sight of the core responsibilities of it and the bank pertaining to each relationship.

The Pearl Finance Banking Check seeks to separate each relationship and look at each in isolation, before looking at the whole.  What level of support does the business need?  How well is the business positioned to get the best out of a bank for each relationship?
